2. Digital Divide Lecture Series

The Fourth Annual Digital Divide Lecture Series explores the changing
concept of the digital divide in the world. While several societies
and institutions have become immersed in the digital information age,
many local and global communities are without the presence of
technology in their daily lives. As technology continues to evolve, so
does the digital divide in all parts of the world and in library and
information science. Join us at 11:00 on Thursdays for this lecture
series, as we consider how the digital divide impacts the library,
society, and local community. Video recordings of this series will
archived and available for viewing.
